The Gay Harris Dancers back at the Rhyl Pavilion

Fantastic news for The Gay Harris Dancers as they return this summer for their annual production of Junior Showtime, their 25th year of performing at The Pavilion Theatre, and the 49th Junior Showtime ever performed by the school.

The Gay Harris Dancers were established in 1970 and are most established and renowned dance school in the area having taught thousands of young people over the years.

Mrs Harris received an MBE on New Years Day 2009 for her services to Dance, she was honoured and proud but accepted the award on behalf of all the people who had supported the school over the decades. In particular her daughter Adele. Mrs Harris and Adele run the totally self-funded group and their sole aim is to give all of their 130 students the love and passion of live theatre, develop their skills, learn to perform, but most importantly to enjoy it. With their famous motto ‘Everyone’s A Star with the Gay Harris Dancers

The standard of the teaching, professionalism and discipline instilled into these youngsters is evident from the fabulous showcase that is Junior Showtime. With great songs and music, beautiful costumes and hilarious jokes it really is a show not to be missed.
